I have been working with clay since 2012, developing my practice through classes, collaborations, and hands-on experience in several local studios before building my home studio in 2022. Learning from a range of artists has shaped my approach, encouraging me to push creative boundaries and explore new possibilities within the medium.
Nature plays a central role in my work. I draw inspiration from organic forms, textures, and patterns, incorporating these elements into the pieces I create. Whether through surface details or overall form, I aim to reflect the simple beauty and balance found in the natural world.
I enjoy interacting with the people who choose my pottery for themselves or as a gift and hearing what draws them to a particular piece. Pottery is deeply personal, and we each connect with forms and glazes in different ways. This is why I am inspired to create unique pieces that can be cherished in everyday life.
Through my pottery, I strive to create pieces that are both functional and expressive—objects that bring a sense of connection, intention, joy, and beauty into everyday life. My pieces are “made with love, for you to love.”
