Making art that is both personal and universal is one of my biggest aspirations. Being true to self and also desiring to impact others is an exciting goal–pushing beyond what I know, searching for better ways to sculpt and paint. Living here & now while searching for then & there is a complex but rewarding journey. Visual art is a moment captured, that is both quiet and still, while also having potential to shout out and move people. Art that speaks to myself and to the multitudes is my artistic pursuit.
