Hi! I’m Erin, a resident potter at Oak Grove Pottery. I’ve been working in the studio for nearly two years, though my interest in ceramics began earlier with a few classes in both high school and college. I’ve always been drawn to working with clay, and over time it has grown into a meaningful creative practice.
For me, the studio has become a place to step away from the outside world and the demands of work—a space that feels both grounding and restorative. Pottery keeps me present in the moment, asking for patience, adaptability, and offering a humbling reminder that not everything can—or should—be controlled. Each piece reflects both intention and spontaneity, shaped as much by the process as by the final form. I’m drawn to the quiet, reflective nature of the work—there is always something new to learn, and no two outcomes are ever exactly the same.
