Amanda is a ceramic artist based in the Lansing, Michigan area, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics from Adrian College. Working with a brown speckled clay body, Amanda makes wheel-thrown pieces like mugs and bowls, as well as hand-built items such as soap dishes and magnets. To enhance visual interest, she incorporates carved images and textured surfaces, pairing bright glazes with raw clay to create striking contrasts.
