Creativity is magical. I have no idea how it bestowed itself on me. I have many interests, but pottery is my favorite. I simply fell in love with mud! In 2018, I walked into a clay studio in Jackson, Michigan. Teacher, Romelle Frey and her experienced students took me under their wings…I was home. In 2021, I moved to East Lansing and found the Hannah Community Center. My teacher, Jim Reinhart and the talented potters always bring exciting lessons and fun…We are a family.
Much of my pottery reflects the other expressions of creativity I have. You will find gardening, nature, cooking and sewing. My pottery is both decorative and functional, for home and garden…touches of whimsey and practicality…but almost always pretty.
