Pottery is the art form that allows me to create something that becomes a part of who I am. I have dabbled is many kinds of art mediums but settled into clay almost naturally. The clay is now in my blood.
Nothing gives me more pleasure than to start with a lump of clay, see it through the process and end up with a piece that pleases me. It is not important to me that I create lots and lots of pieces but rather the pieces that I complete are unique, pleasing to look at and others like and admire them.
When I started playing in clay, I was totally clueless about it. Now, having reached a certain point of ability, I really get to stretch myself, keep learning and try new things. It’s all just so much fun!
